Celebrating What's Ahead

Our focus is getting tighter, and the vision is getting brighter for where we feel God is taking Laugh Out Loud. So, let's dig in to what's new!

Today is a new day and it begins with the curtains being lifted on our brand new website! After several months of work, we are so happy to reveal our brand new lolministry.com website!

This new website not only embodies our new branding, but it also lays the foundation for our way forward. Our hope is that it offers a current and heart-filled vision of who we are, what the goal is, and where we are going in the future.

Our new site features 11 pages of updated and relevant content. This modern new look will serve LOL well as we prepare to move forward and increase the visibility of our ministry. Two new sections are being developed in the months ahead, and new content will be uploaded frequently, meaning it'll be a valuable place to revisit time and time again.

When someone generously offered to grant LOL with a donation earmarked toward marketing, we knew this was our opportunity to reframe, refresh, and renew our vision. So as we started this process, it began with the challenge to re-brand.

While we were attached to the logo we originally launched with, we were asked a straightforward question. "Does your logo best represent where you are now, and where we are going? And with that, it was time to close one chapter and begin another.

We took a giant leap forward, and the net result is a new look that we love, and one that we can grow with. Our new slogan is 'Discover, Develop, Launch, and Legacy.' To discover the story behind the slogan, visit the "Four Phases" page on our new site to read more about it.

So, even as Jervis and Melissa are on sabbatical, things continue to move forward. In the weeks and months ahead we will be releasing some new video projects. These video projects are aimed at bringing more awareness to the mission and working to solidify a bridge between our ministry and those who are actively involved with us.

The first video is a 45-minute sit-down interview that Fox & Hound did with Jervis. This in-depth conversation will be released on Monday, February 17th. It is awesome! This will then be followed by a separate sit down interview with Melissa on Monday, March 2nd. You do not want to miss out on either of these videos.

In this next season, we are also shifting the way we look at fundraising and outreach. For years, many people have graciously given toward one-time projects, but we have struggled to find consistent monthly support. While we do have some very devoted and committed monthly supporters, our need to grow monthly giving is imperative.

So coming soon, we will be announcing a new initiative for individuals, families, churches, businesses, and organizations to become intricately involved in each child's sustenance and livelihood. We're really excited to see how this transforms the connectedness between our donors and our kids here at LOL.

In addition to giving financially, people are always asking us how they can become more involved. Our new 'Take Action' section of the website is laying out the groundwork for some exciting new initiatives we are in the process of developing. These initiatives will be released over this coming year, offering many unique ways that you can contribute to our growth and to the success of these children.

The reality is that not everyone can or is called to physically come to Belize, but we are innovating avenues for people to become more involved. Stay tuned as we begin to roll out new and special ways that you can engage with us on social media, join a prayer team, be involved in community efforts, and/or become an international representative with Laugh Out Loud.

We hope you enjoy the new website, and as always, thank you for being our champions. With so many things in motion, it can feel overwhelming, but this season feels fresh, and we're building momentum. Please take a moment to share it on social media or with a friend that might not know who we are. You don't know how much that helps us in the long run!
